USC WR Jordan Addison tabbed as 'prospect to watch' for Colts
Despite the Indianapolis Colts' continued confidence in their wide receiver group, many others think the organisation should place a larger priority on it.
Pro Football Focus recommended the Colts keep an eye on wide receiver Jordan Addison, who just transferred from Pittsburgh to USC, when naming a 2023 NFL draught prospect to monitor for each team.
The Colts still lack that natural separator despite having two strong playmakers on the outside. Even if Parris Campbell somehow manages to become that person this fall,
he is still under contract and there is no assurance that he will stay. Despite not having a strong physical presence, Addison can run routes in his sleep.
He won your Biletnikoff Award last fall despite only being a sophomore because of this. When he debuted in Pittsburgh, Addison showed he will be one of the top wide receiver prospects in the 2023 draught.
Addison caught 100 catches for 1,593 receiving yards and 17 touchdowns while working with first-round choice Kenny Pickett at the quarterback position.
Addison makes up for his slimmer frame—he stands six feet tall and weighs 175 pounds—with his route running.
Alec Pierce, a Cincinnati native, was selected by the Colts in the second round, and there's a decent chance he'll earn a starting position relatively quickly. But in 2023, adding another weapon to the space shouldn't be ruled out.
The Colts are likely one of several teams keeping a watch on the 2021 Biletnikoff Award winner; however, we'll have to wait and see how Addison does after moving to the West Coast.
