Under Bill Belichick, the New England Patriots have been recognised as one of the best-run teams.

The squad's unselfish ethos, fostered by the multiple Super Bowl champion, encourages players to put the team before themselves.

Fans have praised this "Patriot Way," in part because of the success this way of thinking produced.

Some of them have undergone Patriot Way brainwashing. I don't want any of that. What the No Patriot Way is, I have no idea. They're all businessmen talking about the Patriot Way.

The major players that took pay cuts to routinely field a competitive team throughout the Tom Brady and Bill Belichick era are largely responsible for the success of that period.

Brady was the best example of the "Patriot Way" since he accepted contracts that were less than his market value.

Players like Samuel who would sooner pursue a bag than strive for team success can't truly be held responsible.

Even still, Samuel thinks Belichick might surpass all other coaches if he leads New England to yet another championship.
