Drew Timme will return to Gonzaga for his senior year after opting out of the NBA Draft in 2022.

Timme made the announcement late Wednesday on Instagram and Twitter. The two-time All-American tweeted "I'm back" and Instagrammed "one last ride."

Timme's highlight video was tweeted by Bulldogs basketball with the slogan "Back for anything."

Timme led the Bulldogs in scoring last season, averaging 18.4 points per game.

6'10" forward averaged 6.8 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game. Timme averaged 19 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 2.3 assists in 2020-21.

Last season, the Bulldogs finished 28-4 and lost in the Sweet 16 to Arkansas. In 2021, they were defeated by Baylor. The NCAA has cancelled the 2020 basketball tournaments due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The Bulldogs went 90-7 in Timme's first three seasons.

The NBA Draft 2022 will take place on June 23, 2022. Timme's former teammate, Chet Holmgren, is a top-3 prospect. Timme was a late first-round choice before withdrawing.
