Cooper basketball star Whitney Lind commits to Lehigh
Cooper High School's Class of 2023 student and one of the best basketball players in Northern Kentucky, Whitney Lind, has verbally committed to playing for Lehigh University
a school that competes in the Patriot League of the NCAA Division I and is ranked among the top 25 nationally.
On Tuesday morning, she shared her decision with everyone.
Cooper's forward Lind, who is 6-feet-2 inches tall, led the team in scoring with 17 points and helped the Jaguars capture the Ninth Region championship for the first time in the program's history.
The final score for Cooper was 25-10, and they were eliminated from state tournament play by Sacred Heart, who went on to win the title.

The Louisville Courier-Journal placed Lind on the all-state second team, while the Louisville Courier-Journal placed him on the all-ninth region first team.
In June, she participated in the junior game between Kentucky and Indiana.
Last season, Lehigh University, which has its main campus in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, finished with a record of 19-11 overall and 11-7 in the Patriot League.
