This summer, the Boston Celtics have already made significant roster acquisitions.

Danilo Gallinari was acquired by Brad Stevens in the free-agent market after the San Antonio Spurs waived him.

Malcolm Brogdon, a combination guard, was acquired in a trade with the Indiana Pacers by him as well.

The Celtics moved quickly to upgrade their roster after reaching the NBA Finals the previous year.

Their depth on the bench has increased, and they appear poised for yet another lengthy postseason run.

A recent story, however, suggests that they might not be finished moving.

On July 25, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski said that the Celtics have emerged as a team that might be able to land Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant in a trade.

The Celtics are reportedly "active in conversations" about a trade, according to Wojnarowski.

"ESPN Sources: The Boston Celtics have emerged among clubs engaged in talks on a potential deal

As Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant's trade request approaches its fourth week," Wojnarowski tweeted.
