Bleacher Report names Ravens’ biggest X-factor for 2022 season

Many players on the Baltimore Ravens' roster have the ability to make a huge difference in 2022. At several positions

they'll rely on youthful players as well as veterans who could have strong seasons, with many breakout candidates.

When it came to naming the biggest X-factor for each NFL team for the 2022 season, Bleacher Report's Gary Davenport chose Baltimore wide receiver Rashod Bateman. 

 After wide outs Marquise Brown and Sammy Watkins left the Ravens' offence, he talked about how Bateman needs to stand up.

"If you can't throw the ball in today's NFL, you're not going to win consistently." And, while Baltimore Ravens tight end Mark Andrews is one of the league's greatest

second-year wideout Rashod Bateman is the team's biggest X-factor considering the status of their receiving corps... In free agency, veteran wideout Sammy Watkins signed with Green Bay

while the Ravens traded Marquise Brown to the Arizona Cardinals for the No. 23 pick. 

After an injury-plagued first season in which he caught 46 catches for 515 yards and one touchdown in 12 games, Bateman now takes over as the team's leading receiver."

Despite missing five games due to an injury sustained during training camp, Bateman had a significant impact in several key games for the team. 

He's a fantastic route runner with strong hands who can outshine defenders in a variety of ways. Bateman could be in line for a big year in 2022 after a complete offseason and a much bigger role.
